Therapy and coaching are not the same thing Psychotherapy is licensed clinical care, provided under Paul's District of Columbia counseling license, and it is confidential within the standard legal limits of any therapy. Executive coaching is not therapy — it is not licensed mental-health treatment, it is not a substitute for clinical care, and it is not appropriate if what you need is treatment for a mental-health condition. If we ever think coaching isn't the right container for what you're carrying, we'll say so and help you find therapy instead. The two are engaged separately, under separate agreements.
