Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care is expected to cost.
What this means
Health care providers are required to give clients who don't have insurance — or who choose not to use insurance — an estimate of the expected charges for services, in writing, before those services are scheduled or upon your request.
At Cura Tempos, our rates are published plainly on the rates page: 55-minute sessions at $215, with a sliding scale from $150–194. You will receive a written Good Faith Estimate before beginning care, and you can request one at any point.
Our cancellation policy is separate and also worth knowing: sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are charged the full fee, though you're welcome to move the session within the same week at no charge.
Your rights
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your session. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute it — you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days of the date on your bill.
