Relationship Issues
The same fight in different costumes. Distance that neither of you chose but both maintain. A pattern in who you pick, or how it ends, that has survived every resolution to do it differently.
Relational patterns are learnable and un-learnable. This work is for individuals examining their side of the pattern — and for pairs who want to change it together.
What this covers
- Recurring conflict — content changes, choreography doesn't
- Emotional distance and the roommate drift
- Trust — rebuilding it, or learning to extend it again
- Dating patterns that keep arriving at the same place
- Attachment anxiety: the pursuing, the protesting, the checking
- Family-of-origin patterns replaying in adult relationships
How the work goes
For individuals, we map the pattern — where it came from, what it protects, what it costs — and change your half of it. Change one dancer and the dance often changes with them.
For couples, we use Gottman Method structure: how you argue, how you repair, how you turn toward or away from each other in the small moments that decide everything. Intimacy concerns are welcome in the room; with a doctorate-level sex therapist in the practice, nothing needs to be euphemized.
When betrayal is part of the story, we pace the work for it — stabilization before rebuilding, honesty before reassurance.
